Interestingly,Trans-Atlantic Gombrowicz (1953) is formulated from the baroque aesthetic and this affiliation is a way to render readable a heterodox writing as the gombrowicziana since it is a universal feature that is important in those decades at continental level. In this sense, we think that the irregular participation of Piñera in the Orígenes magazine is the access road that, already in Buenos Aires, places Gombrowicz in tune with the relevance of the Baroque during this period. Remember that Piñera presides over the group that carries out the Ferdydurke collective translation company, published in Argentina in 1947. Thus, in the work we propose to address that point of “meeting” or “dialogue” between Piñera and Gombrowicz from examining, in both authors, mutual loans and appropriations, the presence of baroque, avant-garde gestures and eccentricity, absurdity and humor. De acuerdo con José Bianco ?escritor ligado al grupo Sur? la literatura de Piñera, autor de Cuentos Fríos, guarda relación con el barroquismo cubano de Lezama Lima o de Carpentier. Curiosamente, Trans-Atlántico de Gombrowicz (1953) está formulada a partir de la estética barroca y esta filiación constituye una manera de volver legible una escritura heterodoxa como la gombrowicziana dado que se trata de un rasgo universal que resulta importante en esas décadas a nivel continental. En tal sentido, pensamos que las participaciones irregulares de Piñera en la revista Orígenes es la vía de acceso que, ya en Buenos Aires coloca a Gombrowicz en sintonía con la relevancia del barroco durante este período. Recordemos que Piñera preside el grupo que lleva adelante la empresa colectiva de traducción de Ferdydurke, publicado en Argentina en 1947. Así, en el trabajo proponemos abordar ese punto de “encuentro” o de “diálogo” entre Piñera y Gombrowicz a partir de examinar, en ambos autores, los préstamos y apropiaciones mutuas, la presencia del barroco, los gestos vanguardistas y la excentricidad, el absurdo y el humor.
