About this matter, the political context and conflicts which framed this collective subject are to be paid attention. With regard to the interpretation achieved, the student move­ment took part in an active way in the process pointed out, reproducing antiperonist imagi­nary and constructing its own readings of political and social fields. As far as methodo­logical aspects are concerned, this paper is founded by the means of looking up source documents (placed in Jujenian state archives) and previous studies about social representa­tions and those around conceptualizing stu­dent movement and Revolución Libertadora.  Resumen:En este artículo se determinan las característi­cas de las prácticas y representaciones del movimiento estudiantil secundario antipero­nista en Jujuy en los inicios de la “Revolución Libertadora”, en el marco de su participación en la expulsión del peronismo en la escuela media. En torno a esta problemática, se pone la atención en el contexto político y los con­flictos en los que se enmarcó este actor colec­tivo. En lo que concierne a la interpretación realizada, cabe señalar que el movimiento estudiantil intervino de manera activa en el proceso señalado, reproduciendo el imagina­rio arraigado en el antiperonismo y constru­yendo sus propias lecturas del campo político y social. En cuanto a lo metodológico, el ar­tículo se funda en la consulta de fuentes alo­jadas en archivos de Jujuy y de antecedentes bibliográficos que tratan sobre el problema de las representaciones sociales y que proveen esquemas conceptuales para la comprensión del movimiento estudiantil y la Revolución Libertadora.
