Turner´s Syndrome is a chromosomal disorder characterized by an atypical development of certain brain areas involved in social cognitive processes, existing empirical evidence that support woman with this diagnosis present impairments in specific aspects involved in social functioning. Aim: characterize Theory of Mind in women with diagnosis of Turner´s Syndrome. Sample: 20 women with diagnosis of Turner´s Syndrome and its respective control cases. Methods: Metaphoric Communications and Strange Stories of Happé. Results and discussion: statistically significant differences were found between women with diagnosis of TS and their control group in many of the sub dimensions of strange stories, obtaining, significant differences in total score, with high effect magnitude. The social difficulties in women with diagnosis of Turner´s Syndrome may be associated to an impairment in Theory of Mind related to recognition of non-literal senses, implying a dephasing in the pragmatic aspects of social communication.
