Sumario: | The new Italian Civil Code, of March 16, 1942, treats with the greatest interest the matter related to agricultural work, in its widest extension. Indeed, the corresponding provisions have not only been the ultimate result of long and passionate discussions on the part of jurists and representatives of farmers, but are also manifestly inspired by principles of justice and fairness aimed, above all, at promoting , as far as possible, the technical progress of agriculture. I do not think, therefore, that I am deceiving myself in supposing that Argentines, who have the good fortune to live in a country as agricultural as theirs, may be interested in a brief report on the most notable of these norms. |
