Descripción
Sumario:Sixty-seven taxa of plant microfossils have been recorded from Guandacol and Tupe Formations, Upper Carboniferous, at Mina Esperanza creek, Paganzo Basin, Argentina. Four new species, Convolutispora globosa, Reticulatisporites riverosii, R. passaspectus and Divarisaccus stringoplicatus, together with one new combination, Anapiculatisporites variornatus (Ottone et Azcuy), are formally proposed herein. The occurrence of marine forms related to green algae in the Guandacol Formation, suggests a somewhat different palaeogeographical interpretation of the basin. -English summary
