| Sumario: | La lucha por el derecho al aborto está atravesada no solo por disputas ideológicas, sino también por diversas emociones. Estos sentimientos revisten relevancia pública y política. Por eso, este artículo propone analizar las dimensiones emocionales del activismo por el derecho al aborto en Argentina durante el período 2018-2024. Se basa en 52 entrevistas con activistas y en trabajos teóricos y empíricos sobre las emociones, la política y los movimientos sociales, especialmente de corte feminista. Del análisis se desprenden algunas maneras en que las emociones politizan la realidad social del aborto a la vez que impulsan y moldean la lucha por este derecho. También influyen en la conceptualización del aborto y afectan las formas de protesta. Por último, las emociones graban la memoria de la lucha y revelan el esfuerzo que conlleva este activismo, advirtiendo también sobre los desafíos por venir. The struggle for abortion rights is shaped not only by ideological disputes but also by various emotions. These feelings hold public and political significance. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the emotional dimensions of abortion rights activism in Argentina (2018-2024). It is based on 52 interviews with activists, as well as theoretical and empirical studies on emotions, politics, and social movements, particularly those with a feminist perspective. The analysis highlights ways in which emotions politicize the social reality of abortion while also fueling and shaping the fight for this right. They also influence the conceptualization of abortion and affect forms of protest. Finally, emotions imprint the memory of the struggle and reveal the effort involved in this activism, while also pointing to the challenges ahead. |
